4th Annual Sarasota Marathon Early On-Line Registration Blitz
25 March through 9 April. Save and register at the 2008 rates!
Regular registration will open 15 June 2008 with mail-in and on-line registration available at this time.
NOTE: No Race Day Registration or Packet Pick-up
Driving directions to the start/finish area:
From Tampa take I-75 South to Exit 213, University Parkway, westbound.
From Naples take I-75 North to Exit 213, University Parkway, westbound.
Continue on University Parkway westbound toward the airport and Ringling Museum (the start/finish area). Turn right (north) on US 41 to proceed to event parking.
Parking: Primary parking area will be adjacent to Dolphin Aviation 0.6 miles from the start line. Dolphin Aviation is on the east side of US 41, approximately 1/2 mile north of University Parkway. (Look for the Dolphin Aviation sign, event parking signs and parking directors to assist you.) Parking is a 10-15 minute walk to the starting line. Trolleys will be available to shuttle you from the post race area back to Dolphin Aviation after your race.
Both races start promptly at 6 a.m. and we recommend you be at the start area by 5:45 a.m.
Notes:
- ABSOLUTELY NO strollers, skates, skateboards, wheeled conveyance (other than race officials or properly registered push rim wheelchair athletes on the full marathon), personal support vehicles, etc. allowed on the course. You will not be permitted to start with any of the prohibited conveyances and, if you enter the course other than at the start corral, you will be removed from the course. No pets, leashed or otherwise, will be allowed to accompany you on the course other than service animals executing their service duties.
- No headphones are allowed on the course.
- No race-day registration. No race-day packet pick up. Pick up your race materials at the Expo on Friday, 02/13/2009 or Saturday, 02/14/2009.
